Job Description:

Install and service residential and commercial burglar and fire alarm systems. This is a physically demanding job –includes crawling through tight spaces (under houses, through attics and crawl space areas), standing on ladders, using a drill with long drill bits, pulling wires through walls and connecting them to electronic control equipment and sensors. Service includes trouble-shooting of equipment to determine any problems or malfunctions. (experience with hand tools would prove helpful, but is not a requirement for employment).

Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Full-time position. No smoking on the job. On-call duty (evenings and weekends) for one full week on a rotation basis. Hourly wage depends on experience. Fully paid medical after 90 day probation period. Company provides all tools and a van (for work day driving only). We will train a qualified person.

Requirements:

Successful applicant must have a clean driving record and provide a DMV printout of same, a neat appearance, and be bondable ( licensing requires fingerprinting to be processed through the state). This is a position that calls for a quick learner who can work with a team, as well as problem-solve independently and communicate effectively with the Public. Must be dependable.

Neat appearance includes the following requirements as set out in the Employee Manual,
“Hair: All haircuts must be very conservative in style and color. No ‘fad’ haircuts. No beards or long sideburns.

Jewelry: Due to safety reasons, we recommend wearing no jewelry. This includes but is not limited to earrings and finger rings”
